As conditions start to improve so has the scoring across all divisions. Colm Atkinson won division 1 with +8 beating Craig Brothwell on a count back. Peter Bellamy won division 2 with +9 and Shaun Farrell romped home winning division 3 with +10, seven better than second place. Watch the handicaps guys!

John Booth (41 points) won division 1 beating Mark F Knight by 3 points. Ian M Roberts (41 points) won division 2 beating Simon Driver by 2 points. Geoff Nuttall (40 points) won division 3 beating David Kirkham and Phil Jones by 2 points.

Sunday Medal

In the March Sunday Medal Ross Gibson (73 - 9 = 64) won first class by 3 shots beating Chris Herold (80 - 13 = 67) Nigel Willie (88 - 21 = 67) beat Finn Midgley (92 - 23 = 69) by 2 strokes to win the second class division.

Senior Stableford

Bob Evans won the Men's Senior Stableford on Thursday 23rd shooting 41 pts beating Mick Joyce who shot 40 pts.

Ladies Stableford 11

Janet Coldwell won the Ladises Stableford 11 on a count back shooting 34 pts as did Tracey Heyes. Alison Martin and Christine Robson both shot 32 points.


 

Tinsley

Unfortunately we had some mindless vandalism to the 7th green on Wednesday 29th. Some time just before 14:00 a small black and red "pit" bike driven by a boy in his late teens and a man on a green farm type quad bike with a girl in her late teens sat on the back drive around the course for a short time causing damage on the fairways and 7th green.

They were then seen struggling to get the vehicles back on the top of Catley Road where they transported them off in an old white Ford transit with a high roof.
